Happy New Year! On behalf of the entire Board, we wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, Safe, Prosperous and Peaceful New Year! We ring in the new year with our Annual New Year’s Day Lunch on January 1st, at 1:30 PM at, The Prairie House in Cross Roads, TX. Friday night services every Friday and Tanach Study every Saturday morning continue throughout the month. On Saturday, January 27th, we will have Israeli/International Folk Dancing at 7:30 PM. This will be preceded by Tanach Study at 5:30 PM, and Havdalah, with Bring Your Own Dairy Dinner at 6:30 PM. Our Tu B’Shevat Seder will take place on Friday, February, 2nd. More details will follow.

Our Annual Chanukah Celebration was a wonderful evening of candle lights, great food, song and companionship. A couple of days later a group of us met at the Metrocrest Service Center and volunteered helping others to have a great holiday season. It was a lot of fun and very rewarding to help in our community. We plan on not only doing this again, but also finding additional volunteer opportunities for the Congregation. Movie Night was held on Friday, December 29th, with the viewing of “Skokie.” This was a very impactful story.

Remember to support our Community Service activities (see page 9). Please take advantage of the rewards programs with the Kroger Community Rewards, Tom Thumb Rewards, and the Amazon Smiles programs which help to support Ner Tamid.

Come experience what sets Ner Tamid apart.
