“and thou shalt command the children of Israel. . .to cause the lamp to burn eternally.”

Please join us for our regular services. Friday evening services are held at 7:30 p.m. Led by Cantor Patti Turner (find her résumé here) and sometimes by Brittni Coe and other lay leaders, the service is rich with songs. There is about an even mixture of Hebrew and English. Our regular prayerbook is Mishkan T'fillah, which features many alternative readings. The services are highly participatory.

We currently offer some variation in our services during the weeks of the month, as follows:

1st Friday: "Friday Night Live" (lots of music!).  Siddur: Mishkan T'fillah

2nd Friday: Led by Brittni or another lay leader.  Siddur: Mishkan T'fillah

3rd Friday: "Service and Smooze" (shorter litergy).  Siddur:  Gates of Prayer.

4th Friday: Traditional Service.  Siddur: Mishkan T'fillah.

5th Friday: Service and Special Activity.  Check the calendar or website.

There are also Saturday morning services to celebrate the end of each of the five Books of Moses. Typically members of the congregation share in the reading of the Torah scrolls.

All major holidays and festivals are commemorated with services as well. Check our calendar to see what is coming up!
